Role: Jo-Anne will be the UK member of the Advisory Group for the PISA21 responsible for the quality assurance of the project and ensuring that the project is running to the expected standards and advising on procedures and priorities as needed.

Background: Currently Director of the Department of Education at the University of Oxford and previously the Director of OUCEA at the University of Oxford, Jo-Anne is one of the top education assessment experts in the UK and worldwide. In her illustrious career she has managed the production of national reports by contract to government agencies (QCA, Ofqual) and managed the production of statistics on national examination results for general qualifications (eg GCSE and A’ level) whilst she was Head of Research at the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance.
